Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 5, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Ozark Script ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit our site or purchase our products.
Information we collect
- Order information: name, email address, and billing details necessary to process your purchase (handled by our payment processor).
- My Ozark account and access: your account email, sign-in and activation records, purchased product access, and customer-key validation records. Device-binding information, including your Cronus Zen serial, is used to link licensed access to your Zen and support device resets.
- Account/community information: your Discord username or ID if you choose to join our community for support and update announcements.
- Technical data: basic analytics such as browser type and pages visited. Hosting and abuse-prevention systems may process a network address, but the assistant rate limiter stores only a cryptographic request fingerprint.
- Assistant data: redacted question and answer excerpts, page context, answer source, quality status, and support-handoff status when the assistant is used.
How we use your information
- To process and deliver your orders
- To activate My Ozark, show your licensed products, and enforce the one-Zen device limit
- To provide customer support and product updates
- To assign community roles and access where applicable
- To detect and prevent fraud and abuse
- To improve our products and website
Payment processing
Checkout is provided through Shopify at ozarkvault.com or Komerza for products sold by Ozark Green. Your selected checkout provider handles the details you enter there. This site does not collect or store full payment-card numbers. See the Ozark Vault Privacy Policy for order and checkout data handling.
Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us operate (such as payment processors, hosting, and community platforms), and only as needed to provide our service or as required by law.
Cookies & analytics
We also keep aggregate checkout-request counts by minute, selected products, checkout provider and routing outcome for up to two years. These counts do not contain visitor identifiers, cookies, network addresses or customer details. They record successful handoffs and routing failures on Ozark, not activity inside a payment provider.
We keep aggregate counts of successful storefront page requests independently of optional session analytics. This counter stores the public page path, minute, request total and a fixed source category for up to two years. It does not store cookies, visitor identifiers, network addresses, browser details, full referrers or query strings. Request headers and campaign tags are checked transiently to classify sources and exclude known bots and prefetches. Admin and My Ozark pages are excluded. These totals measure page requests, not unique people, and a page restored from the browser cache may not make a new request.
Essential browser storage keeps your saved cart and privacy choice working. Optional visit, product-interest and checkout-link analytics stay off unless you choose “Allow analytics.” You can change that choice using “Privacy choices” in the footer. Your choice is remembered for up to six months. If you allow analytics, a temporary visit identifier is shared across tabs of this browser and expires after 30 minutes without activity; browsers that cannot coordinate tabs use separately labeled tab visits. Open background tabs do not extend a visit. Campaign/referral attribution is also stored; the attribution record can persist for up to 30 days after its last recorded campaign visit. Declining analytics clears those measurement records without clearing your cart.
Our checkout links send the selected products to the currently selected provider. If you allow optional analytics, our checkout launcher attaches a limited campaign label, source and anonymous session reference so a paid order can be linked to the visit. Customer keys and account details are never included in this metadata. Clicking a checkout link does not confirm payment. Our funnel events exclude customer keys, Zen serial numbers, controller settings, saved tuning values and message contents. Each checkout provider has its own privacy controls.
Ozark Assistant logs and safety
The assistant is grounded in the current Ozark catalog and may retain privacy-filtered conversation excerpts for quality review, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention. Customer keys, Zen serial numbers, API keys, payment data, email addresses, phone numbers, network addresses, and private-link parameters are redacted when detected before a conversation record is written. Conversation identifiers and rate-limit identifiers are cryptographically hashed rather than stored in raw form.
When the AI service is enabled, filtered questions, recent conversation context and page context may be sent to Google Gemini to generate a response. Configured Ozark support systems may also receive filtered conversation records for quality review. Sensitive-data filtering reduces exposure but cannot guarantee detection of everything you enter.
Local assistant review records are assigned a 30-day expiry and removed when retention cleanup runs; this does not describe retention by every external service. Order and account records follow the separate retention criteria below. Do not enter a customer key, Zen serial number, payment detail, password or API key into the assistant. Use the official Support page when a case requires account, order, key or device review.
Data retention
We retain order and account information for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, start through our official Support page.
Children's privacy
Our products are not directed to children under the age required to consent to data processing in their jurisdiction, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
